We are delighted that the Class of 2019 at St James’ Catholic High School achieved outstanding GCSE results.

84% of students attained a Grade 4 or above in both English & Mathematics (the equivalent to the old Grade C) with 65% achieving a Grade 5 or above in both English & Mathematics.

64 grade 9s and 134 grade 8s were awarded to our students in 2019 demonstrating exceptional attainment across a wide range of subjects.

24% of all students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at Grade 7 or above (the equivalent to the old Grades A / A*) and 40% achieved 3 or more GCSEs at Grade 7 or above.
