We are delighted that the Class of 2020 at St James’ Catholic High School achieved outstanding GCSE results.

St James’ are proud of the Class of 2020 and what they achieved especially due to the challenges they faced due to the Covid pandemic.

In 2019 84% of students attained a Grade 4 or above in both English & Mathematics (the equivalent to the old Grade C) with 65% achieving a Grade 5 or above in both English & Mathematics.

In 2019 64 grade 9s and 134 grade 8s were awarded to our students in 2019 demonstrating exceptional attainment across a wide range of subjects.

In 2019 24% of all students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at Grade 7 or above (the equivalent to the old Grades A / A*) and 40% achieved 3 or more GCSEs at Grade 7 or above.
